“You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him find it within himself.”
A common misconception is that a life coach gives advice and tells her client what to do, like a pushy therapist who knows it all. But this is not so. As the above quote illustrates, coaching is not therapy, nor is it counseling.
A therapist focuses on the past, a life coach focuses on the future.
Coaching is very focused and solution-oriented process. My job as your coach is to get behind you with my intention, energy, and unceasing belief in your abilities. Your job is to agree to receive support, work collaboratively with me, and communicate fully with me so that we’re a team.
As a coach, I know that the answer to whatever is stumping you – underneath the doubt, uncertainty, and fear – is within. You already possess the power to live your ideal life, and you can have it!
During our sessions, I will never ask you to compromise your morals, principles, or truth. I will never encourage you to tolerate abuse in any form. My role will be to serve as your advocate and cheerleader, and provide you with a proven process along with resources that will serve you not only in your current situation, but for the rest of your life.
How can you benefit from working with a coach? I’ll tell you. Let’s connect here.
